This is not last week's news: it is still hot and dry or was it last week's news, and the week before?

Linda and Lyle Brooks, Craig and Aaron of Macon, Ga., spent the week with her parents, Everett and Mary Orren. Other family members visiting were Chloe, Dale and Robert Orren on Sunday, Nan Steed Mayes, her husband, Charles, and son, Jessie, of Murfreesboro had dinner and visited with the Brooks at Everett's and Mary's.

Terrell Ingersoll had a knee replacement at Medical Park Hospital in Hope last week. The last report was he is in much pain. Remember him in your prayers.

Herbie and Robin Ridgell visited with Joy and Bill Ray Shaver of Hamburg Wednesday. In route home they had supper with Jeff and Josh Ridgell of El Dorado.

Bro. Keith Mauldin preached at Boughton Church Sunday. Bro. Stan Escalante, a former pastor at Boughton, baptized two in Cold Run Creek Sunday afternoon into the church.

Our son, Willie Hugh, spent Monday night with us. He and Willie made a float on Little Missouri River Tuesday. They caught several fish.

Peggy and Marshall Roper of Fort Worth, Texas, spent Saturday night with Katie Pittman and Sue Austin. On Sunday Dawn and Paul Rudd, Tammy McPherson and little daughter, Rose, of Camden had dinner with them.

Lonnie Jo and Leon Moore of Michigan arrived Saturday night to spend a few days with her parents, Lenord and Faye House, and his mother, Mrs. Moore, of Arkadelphia.
