Laurel Dennis KingPublished Wednesday, August 12, 1998 in the Gurdon TimesLaurel Dennis King, 63, of Alpine died Sunday, August 9, 1998, at his home. Mr. King was born December 16, 1934, in Turon, Kan., the son of the late Harry and Gertrude Keller King. He was a retired U.S. Air Force veteran and a member of First Christian Church of Turon. Survivors include his wife, Margie Gosha King; three sons, James King of Orlando, Fla., Mike King of Gurdon and George Robert King of Amity; a God daughter, Theresa Sutton; and 12 grandchildren. Graveside services with full military honors will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 13, at Hill Family Cemetery near Alpine. Arrangements are under the direction of Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home of Arkadelphia. Family visitation hours are 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday (tonight) at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home.
