Kelley's Surprised With 25th Wedding Anniversary Dinner At Hope RestaurantPublished Wednesday, August 12, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneOn Saturday, July 11, Helen and Olen Kelley were pleasantly surprised by their children, Gilda and Scotty Cox of Prescott, and James and Kay Nelson of Bluff City with what was to be a supper at Western Sizzlin at Hope in honor of their silver anniversary. Upon arrival the couple were greeted by 22 family members and friends. After visiting and pictures were taken, everyone enjoyed a delicious meal. A lovely cake was served and members of the Western Sizzlin staff sang 'Happy Anniversary.' Many useful gifts were presented to the couple with the help of their great grandchildren. An album filled with pictures of the night's festivities was given by some of the grandchildren. The Kelleys were overjoyed and expressed their thanks to everyone for being remembered on their special day. Those in attendance were Scotty and Gilda Cox of Prescott; James and Kay Nelson of Bluff City; Misti and Todd Harvey and children Bentley and Allie of Conway; Taft and Wendy Cox and daughter Mallory of Hope; Vince and Tonja Nelson and children Lindsay and Tyler of Alexander; Andy Nelson and daughters Lauren and Lexi of Ft.
