We had a Watermelon Festival of our own after church on Sunday night. It was real good.

Earlene Butler is still in rehab and will be in there a few more days. She is doing well, she just can't walk.

Happy birthday and best wishes to Ed Martin of Hot Springs. You are still remembered here.

Up town Bodcaw Church received a member for baptism, Carla Adams. She was saved at Church camp.

J.D Allen is still improving. He goes back to his doctor on Thursday.

Mrs. Nettie Bowman is still improving each day. She was in church Sunday. Please continue to pray for all of our sick.

Jimmy and Carolyn Butler have on vacation to Tennessee and Kentucky.

The Scott Harding and Rodney Thornton families have been on vacation to Gulf Shores in Alabama.

Fredrica Silvey Johns of Germany is on vacation in this area and at Calico Rock.

Harlin Ray and Kathy Carlton and some of their family spent a few days in Eureka Springs.

Allyn and Melissa Wallace and little son were visiting the Bobby Candes. Melissa brought a beautiful special in the morning worship.

Doris Shewbirt is home from the hospital but not doing very well. Remember her.

Betty Brown has celebrated a birthday this week with a surprise party at her place of employment, 'The Christian Book Store' of Magnolia. Her children cooked dinner on Sunday to help celebrate.

Corrine Brockman, Maxine Brown, Mary Jo Gregory, Janis Riley, Karen Bridges, Janis' daughter and Amy Riley and Megan, Janis' daughter-in-law, all had lunch at the Bodcaw Grocery on Wednesday. They serve good food.

Linda Bustin has gone on vacation with her daughter and family. They went to Florida. Sonny is eating out a lot. He misses Linda's good cooking.

The Wilson Vines and Helen Vines was in church on Sunday night. Helen has moved to Buckner to be near Wilson.

Wilbur Poindexter goes to his doctor in Camden this week. Remember him.

We hear the Crossroads restaurant food is great. They serve seafood except Monday and Tuesday nights and dinner on Sunday. The owners are Bill and Sue Hamilton's daughter and her husband.
