Hunter Classes Set

A hunter education course will be offered at Logoly State Park Saturday, October 30, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Sunday, October 31, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.

You must attend all class sessions to complete the course.

The course includes classes in firearm safety, wildlife management, sportsmanship, archery, muzzle-loading, first aid, tree stand safety and more hunting information.

The course is recommended for individuals 12 years of age and up. It is offered free of charge, but class size is limited.

It is state law for any person born after December 31, 1968, to have successfully completed an approved hunter education course before hunting in the state of Arkansas.

To register contact Logoly State Park at 870-695-3561 between 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday through Saturday.

Logoly State Park is located at McNeil (six miles north of Magnolia), off U.S. 79 near the Highway 98 junction.
