Once again it is hot and dry in our part of Arkansas. Really no promise of rain.

Howard and Nell McDaniel from Monroe, La., spent the weekend with Nell's mother and brother, Frances and Jackie Bidwell.

Bill Ridling Jr., is spending a few days with his family.

Sorry to report Roy Cagle is a patient in St. Michael Hospital in Texarkana.

Sister Betty Stinson has returned from Detroit, Mich., where she spent two weeks with her son, Eddie Ray.

We in the Redland Community are happy two new houses are being built. Darren and Kristi Neal are building next door to Neil and me. Our granddaughter, Charity, her husband and son, Randy and Caleb Lowdermilk, are building at my mother and dad's home place.

Lane Martin, little son of Chanda and Jeff Martin, spent Saturday night with his aunt and uncle, Kristi and Darren Neal.

Eddie and Bettie Hillery had visiting them over the weekend, her son, John Phillips, and his children, Chelsea, Tristan and Mackenzie from McCaskill.
