Homecoming was held at Harrison Chapel Baptist Church Sunday. They had a packed house. They had preaching, singing and the food was all good. They have a nice church. They have done a lot of remodeling since Rev. Box has been there. It is really nice. Harrison Chapel used to be one of the leading churches around. It is back on its way back up. Rev. Bobby Box is a good leader and pastor. Speaker for homecoming was Rev. George E. Smith, pastor of Greater St. Paul Baptist Church of Camden. Revival will be 7:30 nightly with evangelist Rev. I. McDaniel preaching this week. Guest church was Greenville Baptist Church of Fordyce.

Pastors aide program will be at Oak Grove Baptist Church Sunday, September 6, at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Bobby Young, pastor. Speaker will be Sis. Cora Gulley of Rosston.

Sis. Vera Purifoy has been having company this week. Her sister and brother-in-law, Clearice and Richard Henry, hve been visiting. I am sure she was glad to see them since she lives alone.

Mimie Bazzelle was buried in Gary, Ind. There are just two more left, Emma Lee and Vernon. They both live in Gary.

Genia Burnell is in the hospital in Hope.

Take time. Take time to be happy. Take time to be glad. Just think of the good instead of the bad.
