The school bus coming by always brings back lots of memories and we know it is not long until fall of the year and cooler weather.

The annual Ursery-Ridgell family reunion will be Sunday, September 6, at the Prescott Housing Authority building. Friends and relatives are invited. Potluck will be at the noon hour.

We extend our sympathy to the family and relatives of Emmet Horton. He passed away Wednesday. His funeral service was Friday at the Humphrey Chapel in Atkins. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery at Atkins. Relatives attending his funeral from Prescott were Billy Wayne House and Pat Loe.

Mildred and J.D. Kelly and James Early Hussey were visitors of Mary Ann and J.D. Lucas during the week. James and Earl also visited Roy and Syble Brown.

Mary Perkins and Kay Wren enjoyed an outing to Hot Springs Saturday celebrating Kay's birthday.

Some of Doris Ridgell's and May Perkins' visitors during the week were Meme Dickerson, Shelby and William, Stephen Harris and a friend and Jeff and Josh Ridgell. Mary spent the weekend with Wanda and Vernon Steven.

Visitors of Katie Pittman and Sue Austin during the week were Detra and Ed Joseph and Jessie Wednesday night, Sue Barbora of Little Rock Sunday, Meme Dickerson, Stacy and William and Stephen Harris and a friend Saturday.

We are sorry Roy Gant Cagle is a patient in St. Michael Hospital in Texarkana.

Our son, Willie Hugh, of Hot Springs and grandson-in-law, Eric Webb, of Searcy are spending a couple of days with us. Monday they made a float on Little Missouri River.

A hug is a great gift. One size fits all and its easy to exchange.
