BodcawAline ClausPublished Wednesday, August 26, 1998 in the Nevada County Picayune School has started. Some were ready to start, but some wanted to stay on vacation. Earlene Butler came home on Friday. It was real good to get her home. She will be house- bound for a while. Mike and Jackie Allen from Lincoln visited the J.D. Allens this weekend. J.D. had to go to his doctor in Little Rock on Thursday. He is still unable to get out much. Remember him and all our sick. Ural Poindexter had a birthday on Sunday and his sons, Harold and family and Jimmy Poindexter were in church with him. Mark and Teresa Curtis and boys, Donald and Lanore Hooker and Haden all enjoyed the birthday. Lillian O'Steen and Chloie Tittle visited J.D. and Marie Allen one day last week. Maudie Miller took her sister, Mable Walden, out Monday for her birthday lunch. Chris, Jennifer and McKenzie Walton, along with Todd and Phyllis Butler,, had lunch with Deck and Earlene Butler on Sunday. Noel and Ruby Carlton of Nashville and Bob and Sulla Tye of Hope visited Deck and Earlene Butler on Sunday. Deena Kretz had to return to Baptist Hospital in Little Rock. Remember her. Wilbur Poindexter is to have surgery in Camden on Monday. The Don Binghams have bought the Poole house. They will be moving in soon. Fredrica Silvey Johns spent the day with me on Friday and we went down memory lane of places, friends and things of days when we were growing up. She has lived in Germany for the past 22 years.
