W.L. 'Rick' RicheyPublished Wednesday, September 2, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneW.L. 'Rick' Richey, 59, of El Dorado died Friday, August 28, 1998, in Little Rock following a brief illness. Mr. Richey was born on May 10, 1939, in Marietta, Texas. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his son, Todd Richey, his father, Jesse Willard Richey, his mother, Era Mae Perry Richey, and sister, Jeasie Mae Tucker. Survivors include, his wife, Ouida Mann Richey, one son, David Richey, all of El Dorado, one grandchild, and one brother, Jimmy Richey of Dallas, Texas. Funeral services were August 31 at Rumph-Owers Funeral Chapel with Rev. J.D. Weido officiating. Burial was in Arlington Cemetery under the direction of Rumph-Owers Funeral Home of El Dorado.
