Friends and relatives of the Glass families met at Lucy's home Sunday after church for potluck and fellowship. This is in celebration of all family members and there are many at the present time who have birthdays in October. This has been an ongoing celebration for many years.

It was good to see Dud Wicker's wife, Jean, who had a stroke recently.

Jerry Don Wicker is still on the impatient list. Nita says he feels house bound and threatens to go back to work even though he's not able.

Dennis Hicks of Dallas visited his parents, Bob and Carolyn, and other relatives here for the weekend.

Keith Karmel of Benton was a weekend house guest of his grandmother, Margie Reed, and other relatives here.

Chris Hicks made a brief trip to Caney Saturday. He is improving and has been moved to Hot Springs for therapy.

The October birthday was celebrated after potluck at the home of J.W. and Maxine Glass. Leah McCullough celebrated her 7th and Aaron Morton celebrated his 13th birthday. 13 cousins and friends were there to enjoy ice cream and cake plus favors and balloons.

Pat McCullough, Tim and Leah of Louisiana spent the weekend with her parents, J.W. and Maxine.
