Harrison Chapel Revival ended Friday night. It was spiritual and soul reaching. Rev. I. McDaniel was the evangelist for the week. The pulpit was full of preachers. I went Tuesday night. I regretted I did not go anymore. I felt good. The spirit was really high.

Mt. Vernon homecoming will be held Sunday, September 6. Rev. Giles will preach Sunday evening.

Magnolia Circuit, where the Rev. Chester Fort is the pastor, will have a three-night crusade at Oak Grove Baptist Church starting Tuesday night. Elder Rollie Gulley from Gary, Ind., will speak Tuesday night. Let's come out and support our home boy. He is a good speaker. He is the brother of Ardell Johnson and Narvell Gulley of Rosston.

School election will be held the 15th of September. Let's vote. Don't stay at home and say they are going to do what they want to. Your one vote can make a difference.

Sally Drake and I visited Mrs. Minnie Evans Sunday evening. Homecoming will be held at Cana A.M.E. Church on the third Sunday in September.

Percy Lee Joe is in the Beverly Health and Rehab in Prescott.
