WALLET STOLENPublished Wednesday, September 2, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneA wallet containing about $1,600 was taken from a vehicle Wednesday, Aug. 26, according to reports from the PPD. Tobin Watson, of Hope, reportedly went to the bank and withdrew $1,600 between 2:30 and 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25. He put the money in his wallet and put the walled under the seat of his 1981 Buick. The money was going to be used toward the purchase of another car. Watson told the PPD he stayed in Prescott Tuesday night, but didn't lock his vehicle.
