Georgia GoldenPublished Wednesday, September 2, 1998 in the Gurdon TimesGeorgia Anna Daniels Golden, 72, of Arkadelphia died Monday, August 31, 1998, at her home. Mrs. Golden was born June 9, 1926, in Beirne, the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Verta Crabb Daniels. She was a housewife and a member of the Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Golden, and one son, Samuel Joseph Cagle. Survivors include four sons, Garry Cagle of Gurdon, Ralph Daniel Cagle of Batesville, Stephen Edward Cagle of Arkadelphia and Paul Michael Cagle of Sherman, Texas; one daughter, Norma Gail Buckman of Arkadelphia; one brother, Donald L. Daniels of Arkadelphia; and four grandchildren. Funeral services were Wednesday, September 2, at Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Newsome officiating. Interment was in Golden Cemetery under the direction of Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home of Arkadelphia. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
