Obedience Classes To Begin Sept. 14Published Wednesday, September 2, 1998 in the Gurdon TimesThe Humane Society of Clark County will offer three dog obedience classes beginning Monday, September 14. The classes will be held at Goza Junior High in Arkadelphia in the old gym and will run for nine Monday nights. The puppy classes will be taught by Jean Vannoy of Hot Springs and will meet at 6:00 p.m. The fee for this class is $40. The beginner class will be taught by Dr. Bob Houston of HSU at 7:00 p.m. The fee is $35 for new dogs and $15 for repeaters. The advanced class will be taught by Carol Fale of Hot Springs at 8:00 p.m. the fee is $35 for new dogs and $15 for repeaters. There is no charge for an extra dog in the advanced class as long as there is only one handler. To enroll, call the Humane Society at (870) 245-2579, or send a check payable to the Humane Society of Clark County to: Dee Ross, 210 Unity Road, Arkadelphia, AR 71923.
