Flemons Is Named Homecoming QueenPublished Wednesday, October 13, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneVontrice Flemons will reign as the 1999 homecoming queen for Prescott High School. Flemons will be crowned Friday, October 15, at the football stadium at 7 p.m. prior to the game between the Prescott Curley Wolves and the Fountain Lake Cobras. Other members of the homecoming court are Andrea Cossey, maid-at-large; Jennifer Ingram and Kristen Teague, senior maids; Candi Hall and Angela McGough, junior maids; and Cassie Cottingham and Elizabeth Wilson, sophomore maids. The senior Curley Wolf escorts are Andrew Fellows, Calvin Flemons, Jeremiah Gleason, Edward Glenn, Sidney Giles, Chris Gulley, Brad Harris, Dennis Hopson, Fred Hopson, Gabe Morman, Ronnie Nolen, Anton Purifoy, Antone Purifoy, Brian Woodley and Terry Woodley. Whitney Bennett, daughter of Kim and David Bennett, will serve as the flower girl. Kellen Stockton, son of Beverly and Nat Stockton, will serve as the crown bearer. Student announcers will be David Parks and Tiffany Overton. The PHS Student Council is sponsoring its annual homecoming Parade Thursday, October 14, at 5 p.m. The parade will begin on West Third Street and follow its traditional route through downtown Prescott. The homecoming pep rally is scheduled for 2:20 p.m. on Friday, October 15, in the PHS gym. The royalty and their escorts will be introduced at the pep rally. The homecoming game will begin at 7:30 p.m. A reception will be held after the game in the home economics building. The public is invited to visit with the PHS homecoming royalty at that time.
