AGFC Stocks Rivers, LakesPublished Wednesday, September 9, 1998 in the Gurdon TimesArkansas Game and Fish Commission crews stocked 971,635 fish in Arkansas lakes and rivers during July, Mike Gibson, assistant chief of fisheries, said. In Clark County, 900 fingerling Florida largemouth bass were stocked in Gurdon Lake and 320 catchable channel catfish were stocked in Clear Lake. In Ouachita County, 60,080 fingerling Florida largemouth bass were stocked in the Lower White Oak Lake. In Pike County, 1,200 catchable channel catfish were stocked in the Little Missouri River and 300 catchable channel catfish were stocked in the Caddo River.
