Lois BrownPublished Wednesday, September 9, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneLois Pauline Brown of Prescott, 68, died Sunday, September 6, 1998. Mrs. Brown was born in Texarkana, Texas, to Paul and Ada Philyaw Jackson. She was a homemaker and a farm laborer. Mrs. Brown was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church, WMA. Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, John Paul Hardy of Odessa, Texas, Jerry and Linda Hardy of Little Rock and Glenn and Julie Hardy of Prescott; one daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Edward Woods of Hope; one brother, Elmer Jackson of Prescott; seven sisters, Mary Gean Hickman of Grand Bay, Ala.; Pee Wee Zimmer of Blevins; Betty Sue Britz of Odessa, Texas; Mattie Sue Pilgram of El Paso, Texas, Sarah Lemiuex of Morden, Canada, and Alice Owens and Debbie Stuart of Nashville; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were Tuesday, September 8, at Union Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Ricky Burke, Bro. Jerry Evans and Bro. Frankie Burke officiating.
