Last week's news: It is good to report that most of our sick are improving. Some are back in church.

J.D. Allen was unable to be with us Sunday. Earlene Butler is doing pretty well, but she is unable to walk. It will be two more weeks until she gets the cast off or changed.

The youth of our church had a fun time on Saturday from 4 to 8. They reported about 40 in attendance with a lot of fun and eats.

Marie Tye visited Labe and Linda Haynie this weekend.

The youth of our church took over the teaching, singing and playing last weekend, as they do each fifth Sunday. A lot of our churches practice this and it is good experience for them and they do a good job.

Russ and Marilyn Carlton and Ruth Baker attended church at Shady Grove near Prescott. Russ sang for them and had lunch with them.

Deck and Earlene Butler are great grandparents. What does that make me? A great great. Chad and Brandi had a son, Wesley Cline Butler.

Wilbur Poindexter had surgery on Monday in Camden Hospital. He is home and is improving.
