Grandon A. Norvell

Grandon A. Norvell, 58, of Texarkana, Ark., died Saturday, September 12, 1998, at a local hospital.

Mr. Norvell was born September 15, 1939, in Blevins. He is retired from Lone Star Ammunition as an inspector; he was in the U.S. Air Force. He was a Baptist. Mrs. Norvell was preceded in death by his parents, Jeff and Bertie Mae Norvell.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Novell; one son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Ellen Novell of Texarkana, Ark.; one daughter and son-in-law, Tamra and Mike Danley of Texarkana, Ark.; three grandsons, Allan and Andrew Norvell and Alex Danley of Texarkana, Ark.; one brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Rena Norvell of Mesquite, Texas; one sister and brother-in- law, Joan and Edward Key of Hope; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Monday, September 14, at East Memorial Chapel with Dr. Steve Gibbs officiating. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Hope. Under the direction of East Funeral Home of Texarkana, Texas. Donations may be made to A.L.S. (Lou Gehrig's disease) 6500 Fannin, Smith Tower, 18th Floor, Houston, TX 77212.
