The 84th Session of Southwest District Association Singing Convention to convene with Harrison Chapel Baptist Church in Delight September 18-19. The theme will be 'Upholding Standards of Church Music for the 21st Century.' The theme song will be Hold to God's Unchanging Hand. Dr. Kenneth G. Harris Jr. is president. Rev. Rufus R. Hatley is host pastor. Dr. C. K. Yarber is moderator.

Annual homecoming will be held Sunday, September 27, at 2:30 p.m. at St. Clair Missionary Baptist Church in Burtsell. Rev. L. B. Beard is pastor. Special guests will include Rev. Rufus R. Hatley, Pleasant Grove Baptist Church of Antoine, Harrison Chapel Baptist Church of Delight, First Baptist Church of Okolona, Shady Grove Baptist Church of Beirne, New Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Gurdon, Macedonia Baptist Church of Boughton and Union Grove Baptist Church of Bluff City. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Sis. Nancy McPeak is worship leader.

Women in Hats, sponsored by the W.M.U. Department of Section I on Saturday, September 26, at 6:30 p.m. at St. Clair Baptist Church in Burtsell. Sis. Ethel Harris is president of Section I of W.M.U. Sis. Ruby Allen is chairperson. Sis. Clara Fort, Sis. Lisa Evans, Sis. Karen Harper, Sis. Erma Buford and Sis. Elnora A. Gatlin are helpers. Rev. L. B. Beard is pastor. Everyone is welcome to participate. Guest speaker will be Sis. Flora Gulley of Ronoke Baptist Church of Texarkana, Arkansas.

A pastor's appreciation service will be held Sunday, September 23, at 3:00 p.m. for Rev. and Mrs. Jessie Radford in Spearville, La. New Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Gurdon will be the special guest. Rev. Quintin Radford, speaker.

Revival services will be held October 12-16 at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Gurdon. Services will begin at 7:00 nightly. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Evangelist for the week will be Rev. S.S. Steger, pastor of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Ogden.

Annual Youth Day will be at the New Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Gurdon Sunday, October 25, at 3:00 p.m. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Special guests will be Mt. Grove Baptist Church of Texarkana. Rev. Kenneth Reid, pastor and speaker. Sis. Rose C. Crow, youth director. Rev. Quintin Radford is the pastor.

Mrs. Helen Burton of Chicago, Ill., has returned home after attending the national Baptist Convention in Kansas City, Mo., and accompanying her daughter, Jerine Hatley, to Gurdon. Mrs. Burton attended New Mt. Zion's morning worship services and spent the night with her son and daughter-in-law, Winfred and Margret Burton. While in Gurdon, Mrs. Burton visited her brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Hazel Welch, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Laura Grigsby attended the anniversary of her grandson, Rev. and Mrs. Rufus R. Hatley, at Harrison Chapel Baptist Church in Delight. She visited other relatives and friends and had a lovely trip
