The Southwest District Section I W.M.U. will present a festival of hats Saturday, September 26, at 6:30 p.m. at St. Clair Baptist Church in Burtsell. Everyone is welcome. Guest speaker will be Sis. Floy Gulley, member of the Lonoke Baptist Church in Texarkana, Ark. Rev. C.K. Yarber, pastor and moderator. Special music by Sis. Lila Bell. Worship leader is Sis. Vinita Giles. Rev. L.B. Beard is host pastor. Sis. Ethel Harris is president of Section I, W.M.U.

Annual homecoming at St. Clair Missionary Baptist Church in Burtsell will be held Sunday, September 27, at 2:30 p.m. Rev. L.B. Beard is pastor. Special guests include Rev. Rufus R. Hatley, Pleasant Grove Baptist Church of Antoine, Harrison Chapel Baptist Church of Delight, First Baptist Church of Okolona, Shady Grove Baptist Church of Beirne, New Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Gurdon, Macedonia Baptist Church of Boughton and Union Grove Baptist Church of Bluff City. Sis. Nancy McPeak is worship leader. Everyone and all churches are welcome.

Sunday, October 4, at 7:00 p.m., New Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Gurdon will be the special guest in a fellowship program at Mt. Grove Baptist Church in Texarkana, Ark. Rev. Quintin Radford, pastor and speaker. Rev. Kenneth Reid is the pastor of Mt. Grove. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Revival services will be held October 12-16 at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Gurdon. Services will begin nightly at 7:00. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Evangelist for the week will be Rev. S.S. Steger, pastor of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Ogden. Rev. Quintin Radford, pastor.

Annual youth day will be held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Gurdon Sunday, October 25, at 3:00 p.m. Everyone, all youths and churches are welcome. Special guests will be Mt. Grove Baptist Church of Texarkana. Rev. Kenneth Reid, pastor and speaker. Sis. Rose C. Crow, youth director. Rev. Quintin Radford, pastor.

Appreciation service will be held Sunday, October 18, at 3:00 p.m. for Rev. and Sis. Flostine Quarles and family. Services will be held at Providence A.M.E. Church in the Kansas community. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Special guests will be Mt. Canaan Baptist Church of Gurdon, Rev. Johnny C. Harris, pastor and speaker, Sis. Lila J. Bell, worship leader, and Rev. Flostine Quarles, pastor.

The third Sunday night fellowship singing will be held at St. Clair Baptist Church in Burtsell on Sunday, October 18, at 6:30 p.m. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Bro. Roosevelt House and Bro. Leodis Lyons are in charge. Rev. L.B. Beard, pastor.
