Golden OldiesDoris VancePublished Wednesday, September 23, 1998 in the Gurdon Times Some of the ladies at the Gurdon Senior Adult Center are still busy making crafts. We wish to thank Mrs. Tommy Rhodes for teaching us. She really has some good ideas, and we thank her for giving her time to help us. It will soon be time for the Forest Festival. The center will have a booth this year and the center will have a fish fry on the Friday evening of the festival. This will be a fund-raiser for the center. We still have different activities going this month. Our board meeting and council meeting was Tuesday, September 22. We are enjoying good meals and fellowship. Come and join up. Articles dated December 1981 through May 2001 were contributed by Ragsdale Printing Company, Inc. Articles June 2001 to ? were contributed by Better Built Group, Inc. Articles ? to October 2008 were contributed by GateHouse Media. Ownership of all Nevada County Picayune content from the beginning of the newspaper, including predecessors, until May 2001 was contributed by the John and Betty Ragsdale family to the Prescott Community Freenet Association.
