50th Wedding Anniversary Celebrated

Mr. and Mrs. Ishmael Thompson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, September 5.

A hamburger lunch was served at the home of their son-in-law and daughter, David and Patricia Kirkham.

Those attending were son-in-law and daughter, Jimmy and Julia Taylor, son David Thompson, granddaughters, Connie Peters and Maggie Hopkins, and her husband, Randy Hopkins, and their children David, Donald and Jessica, and Hazel Hendrix and Kassidy Steed.

The couple were married September 5, 1948, in Houston, Texas. The Rev. Campbell officiated the ceremony.
