Iva Parks StocktonPublished Wednesday, September 30, 1998 in the Gurdon TimesIva Parks Stockton, 91, of Delight died Tuesday, September 22, 1998, at the Willis Knighton Hospital in Shreveport, La. She was born November 17, 1906, in Hollywood, the daughter of the late Nathaniel and Emily McDonald Parks. She was a housewife and a member of Delight First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Stockton and one daughter, Clara Bea Craig. Survivors include two sons, James Stockton of Prescott and Charles Stockton of Oklahoma City, Okla.; four daughters, Inez McRoy of Texarkana, Louise Loomis of Malvern, Joyce Henderson of Delight and Belinda Wilcox of Shreveport; 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Friday, September 25, at the Delight First United Methodist Church with Rev. Freeman Henderson and Rev. Bobby Joe Applegate officiating.
