We ladies at the Gurdon Senior Adult Center are still making crafts. Mrs. Tommy Rhodes has some terrific ideas. We have made refrigerator magnets, baskets, Christmas ornaments and wreaths. We have already sold some items.

We will sell home baked goodies, crafts, rolls and coffee, as well as taking donations on our quilt at the Forest Festival. On Saturday evening of the festival, we will have a fish fry at the center. After all your activities during the festival, come and enjoy a good meal with us.

Some of the ladies at the center took a trip to Malvern last week. We enjoyed it very much.

We wish to thank our volunteers who have been delivering meals to our homebound members. The center reaches out to Gurdon and the surrounding communities.

There are many services available through the center to those who qualify. Check it out.

The center is a United Way Agency.
