Addie Mae Ferguson

Addie Mae Ferguson, 99, of Prescott died Wednesday, September 30, 1998 ,at her home.

Mrs. Ferguson was born May 7, 1899, in Blevins to William Edward and Julia Ann Sexton Yarberry. She was a homemaker, a member (the oldest) of Central Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loy J. Ferguson, who died in 1982. During his ministry they served in several churches in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas and Jacksonville Baptist College in Jacksonville, Texas.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, L.J Ferguson Jr. and Norma of Colleville, Texas; one daughter, Marjorie Byrd of Prescott; one sister, Ruby Campbell of Prescott; one sister-in-law, Cledith Taylor Yarberry of Blevins; and 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren.

Funeral services were Saturday, October 3, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chad Brandon, Rev. Tom Mitchell and Dr. John L. Ferguson officiating. Burial was in De Ann Cemetery under the direction of Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott.
