Our pastor, Bro. Petie Ward, and A.B. Luck attended the associational meeting at Shover Springs on Friday night. Bro. Terry Johnson of Bethany brought the message.

Bro. Petie and the Men of Calvary traveled to Amity Baptist Church on Friday night. They did a concert for the church celebrating its 150th anniversary. This is quiet a record.

The Dillard family held their annual homecoming near Houston, Texas, this past weekend. B.C. and Louise Dillard attended. This had formerly been held at Cale City Park.

Anna Rhodes of Little Rock, Jim and Mona Dixon and Claudie and LeVergne White attended the Troy School reunion held in Camden this past weekend.

Gerald Troutman and his dad, Tom, of Baytown, Texas, are spending a few days at their vacation home here in Rosston.

Roscoe and I went to Arkadelphia on Thursday afternoon to his eye doctor and Ruth Vinson went with us. We had lunch at Pizza Hut in Prescott. He will have cataract surgery on the other eye October 19.

Dot Broussard, Ruth Vinson and Sue Dixon went to Arkadelphia to Dot's doctor on Wednesday and had lunch at the hospital.

Guests of Dail and Marjorie Evans recently were brothers, Buddy and Mary Evans of Houston, Junior Evans of San Antonio, Texas, and Dail's sister and daughter, Jean Coburn of Pine Bluff and Martha McDay of Little Rock, Buddy and Betty Manning of Prescott and Paul and Marilyn Cider of Magnolia and all of Dail and Marjorie's children.

Steve and Jeanette Sherion of Dallas were the Dail Evans guests on Sunday afternoon.

Beulah Simpson is in Magnolia Hospital. She isn't doing well and I'm sure she would appreciate her friends dropping by to see her.

Bruce Rodgers remains in a Shreveport hospital and desperately needs our prayers.

Helen Daniels grandson, Mark Hoover, of Texarkana is out of the hospital and home, but please remember him and Paul and Sharon in your prayers.

Revival at Rosston Baptist Church will be October 14-16. Bro. Neil Ridling of New Hope will be our evangelist. If you can't come, remember to pray for us.

Roscoe and I, Dwight and Marion Williams of Texarkana and Jimmy and Booie Williams of Prescott, along with many friends and relatives of Carl W. Burke, attended his 75th birthday party in the Citizens Bank community room in Hope Sunday afternoon. This party was given by his son and daughter-in-law, Rodney ad Billye Burke of Little Rock. We wish for him many more birthdays.

Joey and Ellen Wallace attended the LSU football game in Shreveport this past weekend and visited friends afterward.

Joe Wallace will attend a timber meeting for Potlatch a couple of days this week in Monroe.
