Bob and Ruby Shalk of California spent a few days with J.D. and Marie Allen and Virgilene Crauford of Hope.

The Tye family had all of their gang who could make it for a Saturday night get together. I don't know how many came, but I know they had fun and a lot of food.

Berlin and Carolyn Fuller of the Fort Worth area visited the J.D. Allens and her mom, Mrs. Sprague, of Hope.

Russ Carlton sang at Buchanan Baptist Church in Texarkana on Saturday.

I ask all of you to remember Russ Carlton in your prayers as he is scheduled for surgery on November 12 in a Little Rock hospital.

The Howell Martins visited the J.D. Allens. They had attended the Martin reunion in Hope.

Marge Poindexter was in church on Sunday night hopping around as she had both feet operated on at one time. She is doing fine; it just takes time.

Earlene Butler is back on both feet. She got the cast off her leg and is doing okay.

Dick Butler has been taking treatment on a place on his face. He finished up with them on Monday.
