Prescott Basketball Schedule

The Prescott Curley Wolves and Wolverettes will open the basketball season November 10 at Gurdon if everything goes as planned. However, this could change since each school could be still playing football.

Prescott has announced its 1998-99 basketball schedule with an asterisk (*) indicated conference games. It is as follows:

The Prescott senior teams will be playing in the Southwest Arkansas Classic at Saratoga January 2-9.

During the Christmas holidays, just before school begins again, the Christmas Classic will be played at the Prescott gym.

The junior district tourney will be held February 6-8 at Nashville.

The 7AAA District Tournament will be held at Fouke Feb. 15-20.

In other post season tournaments, the Southern Regional will be held February 24-27. The site has not been determined yet.

March 2-6 the Class AAA State Tournament will be held with the site yet to be selected.

Ending the season will be the finals of the state tournament March 11 and 12. This will probably be played in the Pine Bluff Convention Center.
