Redland EHC

The Redland Extension Homemakers Club met Tuesday, October 6, at the home of Billie Ridling. A delicious potluck was enjoyed by 13 members and one guest.

The meeting was called to order by the president, Marie McNeely. The club collect was read by Betty Cagle, with the inspirational thought by Marie McNeely. Prayer was by Betty Stinson.

The roll call was answered with each member answering with her favorite bulbs. Treasurers report was by Julene Hulan.

The Christmas party was discussed since it will be December 1. Mary Cox was elected to check on having it at Western Sizzlin again this year.

Members voted to buy a larger scrapbook to keep important pictures and things in. Ida Haynie was elected to have charge of this.

The fall council meeting was discussed. Redland is to be responsible for set-up and decorations. Those elected to meet for this were Betty Cagle, Billie Ridling, Julene Hulan, Marie McNeely and Joy Cox.

Door prize was won by Glendene Haynie.

The next meeting will be November 3 in the Liberty Nazarene Church fellowship hall.
