We extend our sympathy to the family of Meta Pittman. She passed away Friday night after a lengthy illness. We are sorry to hear Edgar White had surgery last week. He is in Baptist Medical Center, but if you would like to send him a card, send it to Edgar White, 4209 Pike Ave., North Little Rock, AR 72118. Billy and Chad Blankenship of Ashdown are spending a few days with Annie Mae Hooks to do some bow hunting. Chad's wife, Jadie, spent Saturday night with them. Huey and Freddie Garner, Jim and Leigh Ann Meador and Cliff Chism enjoyed watching the Arkansas - Kentucky football game Saturday night with Everett and Mary Orren. They also enjoyed the refreshments and especially Arkansas winning. Willie and I enjoyed J.D. and Mary Ann Lucas and Neil and Hazel Meeks visiting with us Friday afternoon and Friday night. Paul Rudd and two of his nephews visited Katie Pittman and Sue Austin Saturday. Tina and Sabrina (Otwell) and their children visited during the week. Doyle Everett, Tommy and Hershel Hooks and Hershel's grandson, Levi, spent the weekend with their mother, Cathrine Hooks, and did some squirrel hunting.
