Church in the Kansas community in honor of their pastor and his wife, Rev. and Sis. Flostene Quarles and their family. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Special guests will be Mt. Canaan Baptist Church of Gurdon, Rev. Johnny C. Harris, pastor and speaker, Sis. Lila J. Bell, worship leader, Rev. Flostene Quarles, pastor. Annual church anniversary Sunday, October 18, at 3:00 p.m. at Ronoke Baptist Church in the Greenville community. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Special guests will be Harrison Chapel Baptist Church of Delight and Pleasant Grove Baptist Church of Okolona and Antoine. Rev. Rufus R. Hatley, pastor and speaker. Sis. Francis Stafford, worship leader. Rev. Troy Hearn, pastor. Third Sunday night fellowship singing will be held at St. Clair Baptist Church in Burtsell Sunday, October 18, at 6:30 p.m. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Bro. Roosevelt House and Bro. Leodis Lyons are in charge. Rev. L. B. Beard, pastor. Annual youth day will be held at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Gurdon Sunday, October 25, at 3:00 p.m. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Special guests will be Mt. Grove Baptist Church of Texarkana. Rev. Kenneth Reid, pastor and speaker. Sis. Rose C. Crow, youth director. Rev. Quintin Radford, pastor. The 129th annual session of the Southwest District Missionary Baptist Association will be held October 21-23. Dr. C. K. Yarber, moderator, and the District Women's Association, Sis. Delores Hodge, president. The program is being held at Gennesaret Missionary Baptist Church in Arkadelphia. Rev. Charles C. Hood, pastor. Theme for the program is 'Empowering God's People for the 21st Century.' The sub-theme is 'Re-examining Old Testament Model for the 21st Century.' The theme song is On the Battlefield. Pre-musical will be Wednesday night, October 21, at 7:00 p.m. Southwest District choir is in charge. Dr. Kenneth Harris, director.
