NORMA LEE MARSHALLPublished Wednesday, October 14, 1998 in the Gurdon TimesNorma Lee Marshall, 77, widow of the late J. M. Marshall of Gurdon, died on Tuesday, October 6, 1998 in her home. She was the daughter of the late Norman and Ida Lee Calley. Norma Lee was a life-long member of the Gurdon First Assembly of God Church. As an active member of the church, Norma Lee served in a variety of positions within the church. Most notably she was a Sunday school teacher for more than 20 years and was the pianist for more than 61 years. She is survived by two sons, Jimmy Marshall of Fort Smith and Garry Marshall of Gurdon; a brother, Rodney Calley of Whelen Springs; a sister, Mrs. Audrey Brow of Gurdon; four grandchildren, T. S. Curtis, Kelly, Kimberly and Alesia Marshall; one great granddaughter, Alexandria Marshall. Funeral services for Norma Lee were held at the First Assembly of God Church in Gurdon Thursday, October 8, 1998 at 2:00 p.m. Burial was at Rose Hedge Cemetery under the direction of Horne Funeral Home.
