Church Women MeetPublished Wednesday, October 21, 1998 in the Gurdon TimesThe Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System in Little Rock is offering free flu vaccines to veterans. The flu shot clinic is located just inside the emergency room entrance at the McClellan Veterans Hospital at 4300 West 7th Street (just off I-630 at the Pine/Cedar Exit ) in Little Rock. The clinic is open from 7:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. No appointment is necessary to receive a flu shot. Flu shots are available to all current VA patients, as well as veterans who have never received VA healthcare services. Veterans coming to the VA Medical Center in Little Rock for the first time should bring a copy of his or her military discharge papers, if possible, and can receive a flu shot and enroll for care at that time.
