Rufus Daniel Stovall

Rufus Daniel Stovall, 67, of Prescott died Thursday, October 15, 1998.

Mr. Stovall was born on July 27, 1931, in Prescott to Tracy and Delie Parks Stovall. He was a farmer and a retired electrician with IBEW Local 301. He owned and operated City Bakery in Hope for 14 years. Mr. Stovall was a member of Midway United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his brother, William Roy Stovall.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Park Stovall of Prescott; two sons, Gary Stovall of Texarkana and Jerry Stovall of Hope; five daughters, Donna Gorham of Hope, Brenda Shaffer of Hardy, Diana Stovall of Hope, Denise Ledbetter of Prescott and Julie Marsh of Arkadelphia; one sister, Betty Thaxton of Prescott; and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services were Monday, October 19, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Westmoreland officiating. Burial was in DeAnn Cemetery in Prescott under the direction of Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott.
