John R. LambertPublished Wednesday, October 21, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneJohn R. Lambert, 88, of Emmet died Wednesday, October 14, at Medical Park Hospital in Hope. Mr. Lambert was born on September 25, 1910, in Nevada County to John R. Lambert and Mabel Sutton Lambert. He was a farmer and a retired employee of Bruner-Ivory Handle Mill, Arkla Gas and Texas Eastern. He was also an army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Bethel Nazarene Church at Sutton. Survivors include his wife, Hazel Ellis Lambert of Emmet; one son, Robert Lambert of Emmet; one daughter, Sherri Warren of Sutton; one sister, Lee Wren of Prescott; eight grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. Funeral services were Friday, October 16, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Chapel with Rev. Jerry Westmoreland officiating. Burial was in Harmony Cemetery at Sutton.
