Club Meets, Plans Weiner Roast In Nov.Published Wednesday, October 28, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneThe Nevada Explorers 4-H Club met October 20 with 10 members, six adults and one visitor present. The club elected Shawn Martin president. Lavario Hopson was elected vice president; Jason Jackson, secretary, and Marcus Christopher, reporter. After the elections, the group discussed community services projects that they were interested in doing. The group decided to go Christmas caroling at the local nursing homes. The club will be having a wiener roast in November as a group activity. The week of October 26 is Red Ribbon week at school and each member is making a drug awareness poster to be displayed at school.
