Garland Knight KirkPublished Wednesday, October 28, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneGarland Knight Kirk, 76, of Prescott died Wednesday, October 21, 1998, at Hillcrest Care and Rehab Center in Prescott. Mr. Kirk was born January 4, 1922, to Walter and Mary Knight Kirk in Bluff City. He was a mill worker at Potlatch and served in the U.S. Army. Survivors include his loving wife, Ruth Wicker Kirk; one son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy Don and Judy Kirk of Prescott; one daughter, Barbara Owens of Texarkana, Ark.; one brother, Ivy Kirk of Prescott; one sister, Charlene Gammill of Rosston; one granddaughter and her husband, Nacona and Budd Thomas of Texarkana, Ark.; and three great grandchildren, Sam, Tracy and Sierra Thomas all of Texarkana. Funeral services were Friday, October 23, at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Larry Jones and Bro. Phil Hull officiating.
