Clemon Clifton Butler

Clemon Clifton Butler, 73, of Prescott died Tuesday, October 20, 1998, in Texarkana, Texas.

Mr. Butler was born February 15, 1925, in Waldo to Marion Butler and Dixie Butler. He was owner of Clem's D-X Service Station before retirement and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gertie King Butler in 1989.

Survivors include three stepsons, Herchel Beard of Prescott, Bobby Beard of Hope and James Beard of Alexander; three stepdaughters, Faye Daniels and Louise Kisner both of Prescott and Mary Cardenas of Sulphur, La.; two brothers, Cecil Butler of Benton and Pee Wee Butler of Camden; one sister, Jean Butler of Prescott; 13 step grandchildren; and 14 step great grandchildren.

Funeral services were Thursday, October 22, at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Larry Jones officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery under the direction of Shackelford Funeral Home of Prescott.
