Abram and Jane Loe, Otis Loe, Jane Bradshaw and family, and Don and Peggy Fain came in for the funeral service of Juanita Loe Hicks. Juanita was buried at Mt. Moriah Wednesday. After the funeral they all visited with Junior and Ann Loe.

Dale and Ethel Ellis of Sutton and Maxine Glass had lunch with Lucy Glass Monday.

Morris Baptist Church had services at Hillcrest Nursing Home Sunday afternoon.

Mothers at Morris Baptist Church are planning a Halloween carnival for the youth of the church. Lots of fun is planned for the kids for Saturday ending with a wiener roast and hay ride.

Jack Sampson passed away at his home last week.

Margie Reed, Charlotte Smith and I visited Mary Cross and Eddie Jane Cross Sunday afternoon.

Eddie Jane told us Artie Glass Hart fell Saturday and broke her hip. She is in the hospital in Hope.

Garland 'Jim' Kirk who used to live in this area passed away last week.

Ken Karmel returned to the hospital last week. He was experiencing problems with his heart beat. Ken had bypass surgery three weeks ago.

Bro. Tal, Christa, Lacy and Tessa Webb, Bro. Junior and Ann Loe and Lucy Glass had lunch with Sidney Steed Sunday after church.

Thought: The best way to knock a chip off your neighbor's shoulder is to pat him on the back.
