Stockton Named Homecoming QueenPublished Wednesday, October 28, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneStacy Stockton will reign as the 1998 Homecoming Queen for Prescott High School. Stockton will be crowned Friday, October 30, at the football stadium at 7 p.m. prior to the football game between the Prescott Curley Wolves and the Fouke Panthers. Other members of the homecoming court are Lesley Grimes, Maid-At-Large; Lindsey Powell and Tiffany Trevillion, Senior Maids; Andrea Cossey and Jennifer Ingram, Junior Maids; and Angela McGough and Brandy Stuckey, Sophomore Maids. The senior Curley Wolf escorts are Justin Jernigan, Jarrod Yates, Jarrod Miller, Doug Young, David Gummeson, Angelo Haynes, James McGough and Matthew Phillips. Kourtney Bennett, daughter of Coach David and Kim Bennett, will serve as the flower girl. Christopher Smith, son of Leo Smith Jr. and Annette Smith, will serve as the crown bearer. Student announcers will be Marc McGough and David Parks. The PHS Student Council is sponsoring its annual homecoming parade on Wednesday, October 28 (today), at 5:30 p.m. The parade will follow its traditional route through downtown Prescott. A homecoming pep rally is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Thursday, October 29, in the PHS Gym. The royalty and their escorts will be introduced at the pep rally. The homecoming game will begin at 7:30 p.m. A reception will be held after the game in the home economics (FACS) building. The public is invited to visit with the PHS homecoming royalty at that time.
