New Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Gurdon will be the special guest Sunday, November 1, at 2:30 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church in Emmet. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Rev. Quintin Radford, speaker, Rev. Bobby Joe Roberts, pastor.

The first Sunday night fellowship services will convene Sunday night, November 1, at 6:30 at New Bethel Independent Church of Gurdon. Rev. Daniel Flemons, pastor. Everyone and all churches are welcome.

The members of New Bethel Independent Church of Gurdon welcome you to their pastor and his wife, Rev. and Mrs. Daniel Flemons, seventh annual appreciation services. The musical will be held Saturday, November 7, at 6:00 p.m. Climax of the appreciation will be November 8 at 2:30 p.m. Special guests will be Rev. Rufus R. Hatley and Pleasant Grove Baptist Church of Okolona and Harrison Chapel Baptist Church of Delight. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Rev. Rufus R. Hatley, pastor and speaker, Rev. Daniel Flemons, pastor.

Appreciation services will be held for Rev. and Sis. L. B. Beard of St. Clair Baptist Church in Burtsell community on Highway 51 between I-30 and Okolona for three years of dedicated services on November 21-22. Pre-musical is Saturday, November 21, at 6:00 p.m. Anniversary hour will be Sunday, November 22, at 3:00 p.m. Special guests include Mt. Sinai Church of God in Christ, Elder Jimmy Talley, pastor and speaker, and Shady Grove Baptist Church of Camden, Dr. J. N. Bass, pastor. Everyone and all churches are welcome.

The third Sunday night fellowship singing will be held at the Clayborn Chapel A.M.E. Church of the Springhill community on Sunday, November 15, at 6:30 p.m. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Bro. Roosevelt House and Bro. Leodis Lyons are in charge. Rev. C. B. Frost, pastor.

Thomas Beard of Tarpon Spring, Fla., and his sister, Jerine Hatley, were reunited after 50 years. It was an enjoyable occasion when he visited her home on Saturday. Thomas also visited his dad, Howard Beard, of Blytheville and other relatives in Okolona, Arkadelphia and Gurdon.

New Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Gurdon is happy to announce the calling of Bro. Joe Keith Crow, husband of Carolyn Crow, father of Travon and Ebony Crow and son of Mack and Wanda Crow, into the ministry. Information about when he will deliver his first message will follow soon.

Mrs. Geneva (Stucky) Harris of Gurdon is out of the hospital and at home recovering nicely. Thanks for your prayers, cards, flowers and other acts of kindness.

On October 24, Odie Young of Whelen Springs, his two sons and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Young, and Raymond Young of Prescott, his daughter, Mary Walker, and her two daughters, Sandra Walker and Vickie Jones, and Ms. Jones' daughter, Bridget, all of Arkadelphia, attended the wedding of Calvin and Geneva Young of Rockford, Ill. Calvin is the son of Odie Young. Over 300 people attended the wedding. The couple will honeymoon in Chicago, and attend the Jenny Jones Show.
