Theron StovallPublished Wednesday, October 28, 1998 in the Gurdon TimesTheron Stovall, 86, of Gurdon died Thursday, October 22, 1998. He was a service station owner, a U.S. Army veteran and a member of First United Methodist Church of Gurdon. He is survived by five sons, Jimmy Hughes and Roland Hughes of Gurdon, James Kenneth Hughes and Bill Hughes of Palestine, Texas, and Edward Hughes of El Dorado; four daughters, Annie Lee Blakley of Clarksville, Tenn., Shirley Williams of Gurdon, Vera Daughtery of Taylor and Frances Graves of De Queen; 26 grandchildren; and 36 great grandchildren. Services were held Saturday, October 24, in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Horne Funeral Home of Gurdon.
