Buck, Gibson Wedding Vows Exchanged Oct. 16Published Wednesday, November 4, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneBuddy Buck would like to announce the marriage of his sister, Kimberly, to Brian Matthew Gipson. The wedding was solemnized by Bro. Britt Dupree at Park Baptist Church on October 16 at 7:30 p.m. The bride is the daughter of Nancy Halbrook-Buck and the granddaughter of Johnny and Martha Halbrook of Prescott. The groom is the son of Kay Stevens-Gipson of Springhill, La., and Johnny Gipson also of Springhill. He is the grandson of William and Maxine Stevens of Springhill. The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Buddy. Amber Burke of Prescott served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids was Diana Gipson of Springhill. Best man was Brandon Gipson, brother of the groom. Jamie New of Taylor served as groomsman. Erica Strauser, of New Llano, La., was the flower girl and Cody Ferguson of Prescott was the ring bearer. Greeting people at the guest book was Deborah Jordan of Prescott. Candle lighters were Jay Reyenga of Prescott and Todd Smith of Nacogdoches, Texas. Many friends and relatives shared in the beautiful wedding. Purple and white roses adorned the alter and heart shaped archway. A reception followed in the fellowship hall of the church. It was decorated with ivy and purple and white wisteria. Serving at the bride's table were Michelle Glass of Prescott and Rebecca Halbrook of New Llano, La. Beth Smith of Nacogdoches, Texas, served at the grooms table. After a honeymoon trip to the Ouachita Mountains, they will make their home in Curtis.
