Jack SampsonPublished Wednesday, November 4, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneJack Sampson, 63, died Sunday, October 25, 1998. Mr. Sampson was born on September 21, 1935, to Lloyd and Lois Sampson in Prescott. He graduated from Cale High School in 1955. Upon graduation he entered the U.S. Air Force and served until 1960. Jack married Nola Ruth Cinnamon on December 28, 1962. He served God faithfully through the Church of the Nazarene in areas of groundskeeper, usher, board member, teacher and treasurer. Jack was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. His gentle Christian spirit will be missed by many. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Lois Sampson, and his brother, Dale Sampson. Survivors include his wife, Nola; two children, Rhonda Swanson and husband, Steve, of North Platte, Neb., and Roger Sampson and wife, Michelle, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; four grandchildren, Jake and Carmen Swanson and Kayla and Kristen Sampson; five sisters and two brothers, Bobbie Jean Tuberville and Clyde Sampson of Camden, Linda James and Marilyn Rowland of Bethany, Okla., Charlotte Hoffrage of Arkadelphia, Kathy Pike of Bentonville and Larry Sampson of Magnolia; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Services were held Thursday, October 29, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home. Interment followed at Chapel Hills Memorial Gardens with Bro. Jack Lowe officiating.
