About 75 attended all the activities at Shady Grove on Saturday night. First it was a hay ride, wiener roast, fun and games and the highlight was Pastor Mike Taylor's birthday celebration. Neil's brother, Doyle Meeks, and his daughter and her husband, Donna and Werner Schmidt, from Longview, Texas, visited us on Tuesday. Laverne Stinson from San Antonio, Texas, has recently visited his mother, Betty Stinson. Liberty Church of the Nazarene would love to have each one attend their annual soup and pie supper on Sunday, November 8, beginning at 4 o'clock. Harvey and Ruth Barham from Dallas, Texas, have spent several days at their home here. Gary and Gaywyn Golden from Murfreesboro visited George and Joy Cox on Saturday night. Cody Kisselburg, son of Virgle and Allison Kisselburg, turned two on October 29. He celebrated Sunday with a choo-choo train birthday.
