Bodcaw

There was a big singing at Bodcaw I on Sunday night. Jeff and Tara Carlton of Rosston, The Third Generations and The Royal Descendants, also our own Russ Carlton and The Dorman sisters sang a couple of songs. Everyone seemed to enjoy the time of fellowship. Wilbur Poindexter also played his guitar and sang.

Marie Tye and I attended the 50th anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Matthew of Bodcaw. It was held in the banquet room of Western Sizzlin of Hope. It was hosted by their children, Barry and Barbara Matthews of Jacksonville; Major Van and Kathleen Matthews (USAF) Beaver Creek, Ohio, and Linda and Keith Brizzi of Pine Grove, Calif. They have six grandchildren.

Haskell and Kathryn Riley visited Pat and Travis McKamie on Friday.

Paul Ward and children of Hope and Donna Skutcan and daughter of Texarkana were in church and went home with Ruth Baker for lunch. They are the children of Carrie Baker Ward.

Ruth McKamie visited her sister, Mary Morehead, on Friday.

Sam and Brenda McKamie and son visited another son, Clint Giddins, in Bossier City on Friday night.

Deck and Earlene Butler, David and Peggy Butler, Todd Butler, David Hampton and I went to Little Rock on Thursday to the wedding of Chad Butler and Brandi Calvert. It was a lovely wedding.

Ima Nell May had surgery last week. She is home now. Hope she is improving.

J.D. Allen goes back to his doctor in Little Rock. Remember all of our sick.
