Lila GrimesPublished Wednesday, November 11, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneLila Grimes, 96, of Prescott died Wednesday, November 4, 1998, at her home in Prescott. Miss Grimes was the daughter of the late J.W. and Ettie Grimes. She was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church of Prescott, where she taught Sunday School for 30 years. Miss Grimes was the former owner of the Fashion Shop in Prescott for approximately 30 years. Survivors include one sister, Miss Alice Grimes of Prescott, one nephew, William Curtis Ward of Texarkana, Texas, and a host of great nieces and great nephews. Funeral services were held at the First United Methodist Church in Prescott Friday, November 6, with Bro. Jim Lenderman officiating.
