A rainy cold weekend, but it probably will help the deer hunters.

Last Tuesday, November 3, seven ladies from Bodcaw Baptist 2 attended the State WMA meeting in Conway. They were Frances Barnes, Nettie Bowman, Linda Buster, Carolyn Butler, Naomi Butler, Mary Jo Gregory and Quida Williams. Nettie Bowman did a superb job presiding as president and was re-elected for another year. The meeting was enjoyed by all.

Terry and Merelene Boswell have been spending a few days and attended church.

The time is here for Russ Carlton to go for his surgery on November 12. He will be in Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock. Remember him.

Russ and Marilyn Carlton and Lillie Mae Phillips of Hope are spending a few days with Lillie Mae's children in Houston, Texas.

Isobelle Allen is real sick in a Texarkana hospital. Remember her.

John and Marie Hall and girls of Monroe, La., visited mom, Marguerite Dorman, this weekend. Buddie and Evelyn Murrah and Deck and Earlene Butler made a trip up in Arkansas.

Kristi Burke Cuthbertson and daughter Shelby of Harrelock, N.C., were special guests of Maxine Brown on Saturday. Others visiting were Ricky and Nancy Burke of Prescott, Mary Jo Gregory, Peggy Russell, Sandy, Matt and Kaitlin Russell, Betty Brown, Kathy, Bradley and Allie Brown all of Bodcaw.

Mary Jo Gregory and Peggy Russell attended the Miss Stamps High School pageant Saturday night. Kaci Camp, the Russells' granddaughter, was crowned Junior Miss SHS.

Bro. Ed Phillips has accepted the church of Shiloh Lanbertine. Ed and Sue will soon be moving there. They will be missed in this community.
